William started racing on the short oval scene in Stock Rods before moving up to the premier National Hot Rod series. He then progressed from the ovals in 2007 into circuit racing in the T-Car championship, taking five wins and ten podiums on his way to finishing runner-up in the series.
The transition into single-seater racing then took place with William competing in the Formula BMW Europe championship. This championship supported the European rounds of the Formula One World Championship, allowing 'Buck' to showcase his talent in front of motorsport's top teams. As one of the youngest drivers in the series, William finished twelfth overall and as top British driver. William also raced in selected rounds of the Toyota Racing Series New Zealand, taking two wins - his first in single-seaters.
In 2009, William spent the season in the Formula BMW Europe Championship with Fortec Motorsport, taking a number of podium finishes before winning the Formula BMW Pacific race at the prestigious Macau Grand Prix. William also kick-started his F3 career with victory in the Brazil F3 Open event at the famous Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo in early 2010.
Gabriel Dias is only 19 years old but, despite this, he is the South Brazilian World Cup Champion and 3 times world finalist in karting.
In 2008, Gabriel moved into car racing with the British team Fortec, competing in both Formula Renault 2.0 WEC and the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Despite some impressive performances, his debut season was cut short by a serious accident at the Belgian circuit of Spa, which ruled him out of racing for six months.
Gabriel returned to racing in 2009 with an entry into the National Class of British F3 with T-Sport, and took second in the standings after a season where he won eight times and finished on the podium on 17 occasions in just 20 races.
Gabriel represents a new generation of drivers from Brazil who excel in the racing world, regardless of category.
